About these terms

GabeBot is the Discord bot that the Topline Studios team ("we", "us") runs for the Topline Studios Discord community. By using GabeBot, for example by running its commands, pressing its buttons, opening a ticket or entering a giveaway, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

These terms come on top of Discord's Terms of Service, Discord's Community Guidelines and, where Roblox is involved, Roblox's Terms of Use, as well as the rules of our server. Roblox account linking also has its own verification terms.

The service

GabeBot provides moderation, support tickets, levels, giveaways, Roblox account verification, role management and other community tools. It is a private bot that only operates in servers run by Topline Studios. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and the service is provided as is, without any guarantee that it will always be available or error free.

Acceptable use

Do not spam commands, buttons, tickets or giveaway entries.
Do not use scripts, self-bots or other automation to interact with GabeBot.
Do not exploit bugs. If you find one, report it to staff in a ticket.
Do not use GabeBot to harass people, to impersonate staff or other members, or to get around moderation.
Do not try to gain access to staff-only tools, data or the staff dashboard.
Do not open false or abusive tickets, reports or appeals.

Moderation

Staff use GabeBot to warn, time out, kick and ban members and to keep records of those actions. Because our Discord server and the Mafia Roblox game are one community, a ban in one may also apply to the other, and a ban may be applied to the Roblox account linked to your Discord account. You can appeal through the appeal process described in our server.

Rewards and giveaways

Rewards handed out through GabeBot, such as giveaway prizes, in-game items, in-game currency, roles and staff points, have no cash value, cannot be sold or traded for real money and are not transferable unless we say otherwise. We may withhold or take back rewards that were won through cheating, alternate accounts, bugs or rule breaking. Giveaway eligibility and prize amounts are set by staff and may change.

Ending access

We may restrict or end your access to GabeBot or any of its features, with or without notice, if you break these terms or our server rules, or if it is needed to protect the community.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Topline Studios is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss from using or not being able to use GabeBot, including lost data, lost in-game items or downtime.

Changes

We may update these terms as GabeBot changes. The effective date above shows the latest revision, and continuing to use GabeBot after a change means you accept the updated terms.
